Comprehensive Mortgage Protection
Instalment Protection
Covers your monthly bond instalments if you booked off work for longer than 90 days due to an illness, injury, or disability.
24-Month Benefit: Covers your monthly bond instalments for up to 24 months.
Full-Term Benefit: Covers your monthly bond instalments for the first 24 months while you are unable to perform your own occupation, thereafter from the 25th month continues to cover your monthly bond instalments while you are unable to perform you own occupation or any other occupation reasonably fitted due to your standard of education, training, experience or ability.
Premium Waiver: While a valid Instalment Protection Benefit is being claimed, all the policy premiums due during that period do not have to be paid by you.
Death Benefit
Pays a lump sum amount equal to your selected sum assured directly to your home loan account within 48 hours on acceptance of a valid claim. (Max cover: up to R 3 million)
Permanent Disability Benefit
Pays a lump sum amount equal to your selected sum assured directly to your home loan account within 48 hours on acceptance of a valid claim. (Max cover: up to R 3 million)
Retrenchment Benefit
Covers your monthly bond instalments for up to 6 months or 12 months, giving you time to find new employment.
Dread Disease Benefit
Pays a lump sum amount equal to your selected sum assured directly into your home loan account if you are diagnosed with any of the 12 serious illnesses (e.g., Heart Attack, Cancer, Stroke, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Heart Valve Surgery, Renal Failure, Major Burns, Major Organ Transplant, Paralysis, Coma, Blindness and Loss of Limbs), allowing you to focus on your recovery.
